Teriyaki Kabobs

-1 to 2 pounds venison, muskrat, beaver, chicken, beef or whatever other meat you have on hand
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-1/2 cup ketchup
-1 tsp. garlic powder
-1/2 cup sugar
-Any vegetables you like such as cherry tomatoes, onions, pineapple chunks, green peppers, etc.

To make the marinade combine the soy sauce, ketchup, garlic powder and sugar.

Cut the meat in 1" to 1-1/2" cubes.

Cut the vegetables into large chunks.

Put the meat in the marinade, cover and put in the refrigerator overnight.  I like to marinate the vegetables too but that's a personal preference.

Alternately skewer the meat and vegetables.

Put the skewers on the grill at medium heat, turning often and cook to taste (venison is best when done medium-rare, only 2-3 minutes per side).
