Yepper, same here, except cool weather won't be here to well after season opens. So with a 5 month season we have about 2 months or less of weather cold enough to have good hides...then breeding season will account for some bad hides during that time.

Commercial Harvest

Nutria: September 1 - August 31
Beaver: October 1 - May 31
All other furbearers: November 1 - March 31
No bag or possession limit

Had 3 grey fox pups playing in our back yard several weeks ago. Been seeing foxes , my brother got a young coyote on his trail cam. Been taking out as many grinners and skunks as I can. Too bad we can't trap bears, frickin things are thick again.

Purchased my trapping license and doe permits for the year today. I always love getting them early, something about it gets me pumped about the upcoming season of harvest.

Seen more badgers than I would ever attempt to catch this summer. Had a run in with some hutterites who figure they will trap one of my places. Now they is explaining to the govt why they was spraying crops without proper licenses and insurance. Coyotes are thick as ever.
