My father retired and moved to Florida years ago. The amount of wildlife down there is incredible. This is a spot behind a seafood restaurant. He is located on west coast by Fort Meyers.

That is a little gold mine if the coon prices come up. Just wonder how many are actually living there. Always see the tip of the ice berg before you see the rest.

I've seen pics of such scenes here in Kansas on several occasions. All of them were centered around deer feeders in rural areas. I have more then a hunch that here they are even more plentiful in urban areas. I know for a fact thats true for coons as well as red fox. There is no trouble finding coons anywhere you want to go in big numbers, and they are very easy to catch..... with our low prices for coons and low sales like it is here for Kansas, I can only imagine how poor they would do coming from Florida!

It's amazing to see how wildlife can easily over-populate areas where they cannot be controlled. Urban areas like Pittsburgh and Philadelphia here in PA are loaded with raccoons and deer. Any attempt to do the effective way to reduce populations are met with protests yet disease runs through these wildlife populations causing not only human health risks but suffering by the animals as well.
