Using the "armor piercing" ruse liberals/gun grabbers are pushing a new ban. Now stating the .223 "pistols" are the reason. Stating the .223/5.56mm can penetrate soft armor. Most center fire rifle calibers can penetrate soft armor. Soft armor is designed to defeat small caliber pistol ammunition and piercing weapons. I dont know any officers that wear soft armor on the street. Some prison/jail staff do.
