I had a call today from my latest employer. The one in the stuck up subdivision.
They asked me to hold off on starting the trapping until after their next board of association directors meeting.
Seems that word got around in the neighborhood that the president of the association hired a mercenary beaver killer and it has everyone so mad they are bombing their own president with complaints and threats of lawsuit. So......
I told them to give me a call when they got it squared away.
I almost told them for the right price, I'd invest in a night vision scope for the mini-14 and just wait em out till midnight and open fire. Then run.

   That's a good response! I wonder how the folks in these neighborhoods think they are going to rid themselves of the beaver that are eating their precious trees??? We have the same situation here where I am. I can just see you with the night vision goggles and the rifle out on the golf course water hazards!

I have had some really bad luck with Homeowners associations. Finally sold the house and moved to the country before I got into trouble.

I got one job and go to meet on the other today at 7:30.

If it is a nice subdivision just remeber its all about talking money to them . price every tree damaged at 1000 to 1200 dollars every incident of flooding at thousands especially if it reaches there houses and that having a dangerous pest nuisance animal around damaginf property will also lower the selling value of ther houses and land.

these people didnt get to live in this nice subdivision because they let money get eaten up for nothing . so just make it seem as if their pocket books arre going to hurt and you will get where you want. ask to go to the homeowners meeting to pleed your case.

So my meeting went well they have to talk it over and make sure the state will alot the money but i may be in luck in the 70's ky took the clarks river and made watersheds and put in culverts and diverted it and all kinds of other things when they did this they made a contract that said they would maintain any an d all problems and damage from said construction.

the good news for me is this means a state retainer and they will keep me busy year round checking this river and the spillways watersheds and tributaries. that is if they decide to hire me and seeing as i am the only one that has shown up when they called i am sure that will help out.

i Got about 15 sets in today at the other place i hope to knock it out fast so i can get started on this other job.
