I caught this one in June up on Lake Minnitaki in Ontario. 34 inches, 15 pounds. It was a blast to land, tons of fun.

Sure do love laker fishing, got a cabin by bayfield, on lake superior. The most fun is going out 10-20 miles when it freezes over and bobbing 150-300 feet for the big lakers, when i get time i will post some pics. WTA

WTA, I'm jealous. That sounds like a lot of fun. Ya know... I live only about an hour south of Bayfield. *hint hint*

no hint needed, all we need is some good ice. last year none, the year before we got two weekends of deep water, the year before was a good winter, we pounded them for 9 weekends straight (lost one sled on the last trip out, the tenth weekend, I didn't go that weekend, not enough ice for me!)You are welcome to go if/when we get ice enough to go.
