Yes...you are a bit on the rural side to do this full time. Part time yes..but full time would be a challenge. We have a couple offices that are in rural areas like yours and they do fine part time. What are most of your calls for?

My boyfriend is a registered PAC agent. I'm supposed to take my test to be certified in Massachusetts next week. I wish Mass was reciprocal... Anyway, most of his calls are beaver/raccoon/squirrel/skunk calls. Beaver calls, he tells them that he won't do them unless they're during the fur-trapping season. That way, he can make the most of the resource. Plus, it prevents the competitive feelings with the other fur trappers. Raccoons he does year around, as well as squirrels and skunks. Though he makes more money from the exclusion services than from the trapping of the animals.

Awesome...I was just in Greenbrier county this Saturday and the snow was up to my knees in places! They got the brunt of this storm last weekend. I am watching the news of this blast down in Ghent, WV that blew up a gas station and has killed 4 people so far. It is not far from my home down there. Those poor folks...

I am moving into the full time NWCO position. As our business grows, we are looking to get out of home and into a walk-in location.

Hard to do when starting out with minimum backing. And harder to do when established businesses are around.

Isn't that the truth. Massachusetts has a lotof problem animal control companie sdue to the major problems with the trap restrictions in this state. Trying to get a foothold in is difficult and no one will share trade secrets with you
