I use the american harvester jerky mix, usually about 1 1/2lb meat instead of the 1 lb they recommend, little warm water and 1/2 -1 cup(ish) of garlic POWDER. water helps the mixing. I let it sit over night in the fridge and press it out the next day. Ive got 6 trays in my dehydrator and it takes 7 hrs(ish) to dry it how I like it.
