I went from dust to mud..don't know when the rain started but I woke up at 2 am this morning and it was raining then..it rained till noon then quit. now at 3 oclock its raining again...ive gotten 3 and 3 tenths with more to come......

Not that much rain here Chief. We had 2/10ths of an inch yesterday and now back to dry weather.

picked up another 2 tenths of rain yesterday..that makes 4 and a tenth of rain since last Tues.

We got some light rain this morning. It didn't do much for the dry conditions but a little is better than none at all.
We are supposed to get quite a bit of rain tomorrow from the hurricane moving northeast.

A very warm and muggy 68 degrees at 3:48 in the morning. We have some light rain falling now but the steadier rain is supposed to come during the day.

I put the bagger on the lawn tractor and started sucking up leaves in the yard yesterday. That's like fighting a losing battle, I would have the yard about cleaned up and a breeze would come through and knock down a bunch of leaves covering the yard again. We have rain coming in today.

Hunting kicks into high gear as inline muzzleloader deer, squirrel, grouse and woodcock season begins today and the archery season continues. I'm torn whether to take the muzzleloader or the bow because the muzzleloader season is for doe only. The freezer could use some meat though.

Probably only hunting this morning. It's 55 degrees right now but calling for the mid 70's this afternoon.

Interesting day today. I decided to take the inline muzzleloader out this morning. I did see 4 doe but not one of them presented a shot that I was comfortable with. I also saw 2 turkey and a grouse.
By 11 o'clock the clouds cleared and the sun beating down caused the temperature to rise quickly. So, this afternoon I took the kayak out and I fished. The fishing wasn't good at all but I did see a bald eagle! Overall, it was an excellent fall day.

starting out this morning with rain and humid 72 degrees..by noon the cold front go's through and its down to 55 degrees..

58 here this morning going up to the mid 70's again. The cold front isn't supposed to get here until early tomorrow.

33 degrees and pretty sure that we will have a heavy frost this morning, too dark to tell now. Hopefully this will stunt the grass because it has been growing like crazy with the recent rain and warm weather we've been having.
