It's a cool 51 degrees here this morning. It's looking like just an outstanding day for August.

Have a great day everyone! :D

We have been getting a good bit of rain over the past several days. Sort of unusual for August. The good part is that it won't be many weeks until "fall" will be arriving down here. I do envy you guys getting the cooler mornings.

There is a .22 benchrest shoot at the sportsmen's club this morning and the wife and I are going to see a baseball game this evening. Going to watch the Altoona Curve which a the AA affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Looks like we will have decent weather for it. The humidity is starting to get real high again.

Chief, doesn't your squirrel season come in real soon?

Have a great day everyone. :D

After 56 days without any precipitation, we finally got about one tenth of an inch last night. Only supposed to be in the mid 70s and that is MUCH better than the upper 90s and 100s we have been having the last couple weeks.

It was pretty good Chief, Altoona played the Trenton (NJ) Thunder. They are the double A affiliate of the New York Yankees. We kind of got to see a double header. The Friday night game was shortened by rain so they finished the game with Altoona winning the first one but lost game 2. We had a very nice time.

I used to hear yotes all the time out my window at night but haven't heard any this summer. Owls on the other hand seem to be in over abundance here.

Have a great day everyone. :D
