Congrats Chief and he looks fit as a fiddle now, you on other hand could use about a week of rest, unless you had your eyes closed visioning the future witch encase would make you look exhausted with all the adventures with the little guy. He will be ever so lucky to have a grandpa like you to learn the fine arts of so much of what you do.

Nothing more terrifying than a baby that isn't healthy. Glad he came through and wish him a long productive life. You sir need some shut eye.

thanks one and all,it means a lot to me for you guys support.TT you got that right, theres no more helpless feeling than having to put your trust in doctors and nurses you have never seen before.they were top notch people..the doctor reassured me that he was 99 % sure that the baby would be fine,i was worried about the little guy,but was just as worried about my daughter.she started labor, then the doctors tried to slow it down but it didn't work.so they took it C section at 5:30 march 22nd, within 2 hours of delivery our local hospital said we were going to have to fly him to St.Louis.they literally pried the baby away from my daughter..my wife and the son in law was off to St. Louis ,the baby got to fly in a helicopter.the next day at noon the doctor made his rounds.the daughter was up and dressed when the doctor came in and she told ,he could release her or he could watch her backside go out the door but either way she was going to her baby..pretty hard to see her go through that emotional turmoil..back when she was little I could fix or make anything better..well she aint little anymore and dads cant fix everything everytime..that was tough...those darn girls of mine took that picture after I had 45 min.s sleep in 50 hours..again many thanks to all of you...I slept most of the day today..i got to get back to a normal routine now...

He looks like he inherited paw paw's hair gene and growing him some already!! Lordy, Chief, with the right sunglasses and hat, someone might get you into a ZZ Top cover band :D :P

You know I'm just giving up a hard time because I'm follicle-y challenged and envious of your hair  !!
