Someone posted this over on the brown site. This guy seriously makes use of the old chisel tooth. I wonder, though, if he gets his board clean if he's butchering at 70 F...??

What I gained from the video was that it reaffirmed to me that beaver have shoulder bones attached to the sternum area. I had wondered if it was just me when I cut them up or if that was a usual thing. I am glad he cleared that up. I wonder why beaver have this bone attachment while most animals do not?

Me to iv tried it and liked it but by the time you clean out the membrane its about the size of stew meet but good flavor I want to try the burger in a bad way especialy with the price of regular burger not that ill be saving much money but I know where the meat came from at what it was raised on

Is it possible to eat beaver that has been trapped?
We have a 48 hour check time here, and I really only go after beaver right after ice off, so the water is still very cold. Think it would still be edible even after being dead for 24-48 hours?

24hrs ive done in cold to freezing weather on drown sets 48I dont know I havent tried we also have a 48hr check but for the most part I run a 24
