Past week have had our friends from Turtle lake WI here for fishing. They are in a new camp this year on Wabigoon lake. The lake is where I live. It was hard fishing for walleye as the weather has been up and down. So today I took both the gentleman fishing at one of my honey holes. The girls spent the day shopping in our community. Needless to say we caught our fish but we had to throw back many as they were over slot size. 18 inches for walleye and one over. These are the same friends that came with us to visit KD and his wife a few years back. Now they make a trip every year to his establishment for fiddles as they proceed on to their cabin. They are booked again next year for the same time but I will have more in store for them when they return.
Just waiting for KD to take a weekend off and head North so I can pick his brain and fish with him. Same goes to any WAT members who want to travel North and do some fishing. You our all welcome.

Without pictures, you can't prove any of this happened. Not saying it didn't, just can't prove it. I also have carried a camera and not taken any pictures. You have company. Sounds like it was a good time.

I have pics on my I phone which I sent to swamp. He can verify if you don't believe me. Nice try though. Yes it was a good time for them and for myself. Good to see old friends again from south of the border. Not Mexico :D

That's a very generous offer Wolf. A Canadian fishing trip would be awesome!

LOL, thanks for posting. You don't need an invite. Besides you said you like eating fish not catching.

Well since your like a fart in a wind storm this year traveling all over you might as well let the wind blow you north for a change. The soup would well be in your best interest. After helping KD for a couple weeks in the kitchen, you then could come north for some fishing. :)

I must admit, I like your travel schedule for me much better than the one my Wife has for me.
