The boys got me out hunting again even though it was toooooooooooo nice an afternoon.

Image

We tried a bale blind with my old roll of burlap that has done more hunting than most people.
Image

It worked well as Bobby had took off to try his luck at a pond ducks were going into and Donny and I had the blind to ourselves. We had geese land in the decoys at which Donny laughed his skinny butt off watching their antics. I fired one shot this afternoon just so the boy knew I could and ended up with this.

Bobby meanwhile came back smiling.

Wow, that's great TT!!!! Those are the best days to hunt, when it's tooooo nice. Your boys sure are good shots when they are using the "oldtime" shotgun.

It must have been a good year spraying that you can throw $50.00 around on the ground!

Glad to see you all had an enjoyable time and got some birds while doing it, congrats.

I see one of my favorite ducks, the shoveler. I have yet though to see a drake up close, every time we shoot one, it ends up being a hen.

After reviewing the pics I realized that the boys had NO CAMO CLOTHING on and know that the hunt pictures must have been "staged" because EVERYONE knows you must buy CAMO EVERYTHING to be successful on a hunt~
