Boil and Serve Omlelet---That's right Preacher---all you need to know is how to BOIL WATER!

Crack 2 large or extra large eggs (not more than 2) into a ZIplock bag, shake until well mixed.

Add whatever "sides" you like with an omelet-cheese, ham, onion, green peppers, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc-

Each camper/cook can assemble their own bag as they so desire. Make sure to get all the air out of the Ziplock bag and zip it shut.

Place bag(s) into rolling boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. Make another pot if you desire more than that amount.

Open bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared to be amazed!

Now, get the cathead biscuits out of the Dutch Oven, put plenty of butter on them and dig in.......

What is a cat head biscuit. We are going to try this recipe out tonight with a bunch of prairie oysters to boot.

O.K., I have to ask. What is a prairie oyster? Is it the same as a mountain oyster?

Mountain oysters, prairie oysters, speak English please!! What are they?

As for the boiled water omelettes... they are a staple in my friend's elk camp every year. He showed me how to do them... easy and good.
