I've never been to Maine but would love to visit there some day. This would be a great excuse!

Maine is VERY nice, I go up a few times a year. Mostly because that's the closest Cabelas to New Hampshire, but we also do two or three ice fishing derbies up there in the winter.

Funny thing, I've never been to New England at all! I've been New York state several times and Ontario Canada 4 times but never New England. I've always wanted to do some hunting, fishing and trapping in Maine. I'd love to try for some of those landlocked atlantic salmon. I'm sure you have those in New Hampshire as well. We do have a couple of places in PA that have them but I always wanted to do a trip in some backwoods lake for them.

This is a great event, Neil has a huge field wher everyone camps. Many people in the field sell used traps and such. Also lots of new trapping supplies for sale. I guarentee you will like it.
