i'm going to scout for cats with my trail cam. It isnt legal to harvest them here but its worth doing it. i'm going to get a dead rabbit. hang it by a rope from a tree with a flag or plastic bag next to it. NO TRAP WILL BE UNDERNEATH.

Hey Bloomy, you are allowed to harvest one if you get the permit. Good luck with the trail cam.

Ditto that Redrider! I only have one and it is almost out of the picture frame. I had pleny of photos of everything else and actually caught 3 bobcats very near where the camera was getting the most action...but no cat pictures prior to that.

just might not wanna put the rabbit where it will be in the picture or everytime the wind blows is you will get a piture or just the rabbit.... and if you have a one minute delay... say your rabbit blows..takes a picture... a lot can happen in that minute of delay, you could have ten bobcats walk by it and you have no pictures... i got an arrow with a fox and gray squirrel tail put out in the field with 4 squirrels in front of the camera... i have the tails on the arrow to the right of the camerea where it wont take pictures of it... let ya know if anything exciting comes up
