I just wanted to let anyone know where there are some beavers if they wanted to go after them. about 4-5 miles north of the Saegertown exit on I-79 there is a beaver pond in the median. I think they moved in last year and they appeared to still be in there when the water was open. I would go after them but it is too far for me to travel from Gannon. Just thought i would let anyone know that was in the area.

If you want some southern beaver, you can come to TN. You can find them... pretty much everywhere and you're legal to trap them year round. Coyotes too.

If you drive through the mud, odds are the next day there will be a dozen beaver living in the puddle your tire tracks made.

I'm pretty sure a beaver is trying to move into my coffee cup in my office right now.

Some counties offer a bounty on them to get rid of them. Rumor is this summer several counties are offering $10 a head. Coyotes are confirmed that they are going to be $25 per pair of ears where I am going to get them. Wish they would take feet so you could still get a good price on the pelts as well as getting the bounty during trapping season. Gotta turn in the whole carcass for beaver.

Makes for good fun/practice during the summer months and yotes you get turkey hunting. And if you get a crappy yote during trapping season you dont think you can get $25 for, just lop off his ears and freeze them till the bounties go active during the summer.
