Post subject:  Bucket sets.....thanks

Thanks for all the good info. I learned a lot in the last week. I made a bucket set last night a baited it with dog food and shell fish oil. This morning I was happy to find a big old fat coon. Thanks for the dog food tip. It really works.

I used a 220 to guard the front of the bucket. THis morning I went out to check traps and had a stray cat in this set. Not what I wanted but hey at least it's working.

I use 160s. Depends on your regualtions. Some trappers prefer the 220 because it's larger.

With your cubby sets I would recomend using a sweet bait, less likely to attract cats and dogs. Those are two none target catches you dont wanna make.
