Any one think this may ACTUALLY work? :?

Image

I was standing outside the back door watchin a squirrel in my yard. I looked down at the trailer and saw my mirrow trap layin there, and the idea just poped in my head. I put some peanut butter on a corn cob and stuck it in the trap. Then I put the trap on the ground under the tree I was watching the squirrel at. The squirrel was on the ground, but went up the tree when it saw me. If I don't have anything by dark, I'll tie it up IN the tree and see what happens tomarrow.

Thanks trap.

Swamp, we don't have flyin squirrels in this neck of the woods. Just the brown ones. I think they're fox squirrels or something like that. :? Flyin squirrels are alittle more east of me. :(

Is it? Oh. Ok. I pulled it out of the mud in the Brazos River in Waco about 12 years ago. Come to think of it, it DID have a crawdead in it when I found it. The holes a little bigger than the store bought minnow trap, too. :? COOL!! :D

Of course ground critters wont know that, and if there is a free meal to be had. they may end up in there.

Dike?

The place I deer hunt has them. I hadn't seen them, but my bud that owns the place said they're there. I think he said they caught some ones, and have them at the house as pets.

Interesting conversation here... I think the most interesting thing is the "ghost image" of Boom taking a picture of his <ahem> "minnow trap". Nice shadow there Boom...
