Quick question..............

What would be the optimal pan tension for coyotes? 2 lbs.? I'm fine tuning some #3 coilsprings for this weekend.

Thanks for your help.

I think most guys run 2 to 3 even 4 pound tension for Yotes.

From what I've read and been told, 2lbs for fox, 3 to 4 for strictly yotes.

If you want to exclude the skunks, go 4 pounds. You might also miss some fox, but it is a trade off.

definitely 4lbs, or you will have tons of opposums, I learned that the hardway.

Fortunately for me we don't have any opossums where I am. I just have to work around those stinky ones that seem to find my traps everywhere. :D
