Just an fyi guys, there's seemed to be a huge private treaty fire sale for poor goods this past week. Most of my left over poorer stuff moved and is posted as sold this morning. i guess it's a good thing.

Since LHB posted that, I hopped onto the NAFA website to see if my beaver moved. Still says bought back.....

I did get an email from NAFA advertising the March/April sale. My beaver will be back in that one I guess along with a red fox from this past season.

As far as the amount of fur caught, I had a bad year. But, seeing how the prices are this year, I'm not missing anything. On a positive note There should be plenty of fur to trap next season! :D

Well, LHB, that's 36 cents more than my dink (I hope it was only the dink for $1.50). Good riddance. I'll never send any coon smaller than 1 XL up to auction again. I ended up with a 50% clearance on my coon then (if no other pp deals happen between now and the end of March).

In the past, I've actually made off pretty well on good prime and heavy large size coons. They were close to perfect in every way but size though. I wouldnt mess with them now though. If the market ever returns, I wont mind sending a handfull of larges that are top quality.

We didnt sell any of our 6 coons or 4 possums. One of the coons is damaged/good but it still didnt go. I dont think id call it a fire sale or the damaged items would have all went.

I never noticed what it was in USD, but I would assume it was $1.50, I was posting in CAD

Yep, I still sold nothing. I got a yote, 3 coon and 6 grinners sittin there. That's ok, with the exception of the yote, they are well graded hides and should be worth more than a low ball price.
