I put up a large far of meat and forgot about it for a couple weeks. This stuff is really ripe. Did I let it stand to long, or is it O.K.. I added Sodium benzoate and glycerin to it already. I don't know if I should use it.

You can still use it. With it being really loud you might bring in a few more possums and skunks than you would like. I would say you did not let it sit long enough for a true taint. For a true taint it may take 6 to 8 weeks maybe. During that time the gas will calm down and the rot smell will change over to a bit of a milder smell in which would be better for a tainted bait. During that time you have to keep an eye on it for when it hits that point. Hope I explained that right. Amak could do a better job of explaining it than I can.

I was told a true taint is 6-8 weeks. I know some people taint for a year or two, depending on what you want the bait to be. I've noticed that beaver meat tainted for a month is really loud, and works well for skunks. After 6-8 weeks, it milds out and sweetens some I think, and is ready to use.
