Post subject:  MB550's

A friend of mine let me borrow some of his MB550's to trap bobcat this past season. I really liked them, they seem to be built solid and I am considering buying a bunch for next season. What I was wondering if some of you guys could give me your opinion if you think they are worth the premium over Bridgers. Thanks.

I have no experience in that field but i think Jase and Russ could help you. They seem to be big on mb traps. Maybe they will chime in and give a opinion.

They are excellent traps and I think they are worth every dime. If you can afford them I would go for it or possibly even some 650's.

I have 550's four coiled and really like them. I haven't found a coyote yet that will tear one up.

MB550's are great!!!!!!! I only have a few of them now but will be buying another dozen or more this year. Worked great on the few coyotes and bobcats I got. To bad i'm not experienced enough to put them in the right place yet!!! 8) Some year I will learn! :D

I've used both traps, and currently run both the Bridgers and MBs (550's and 650s) on my line. I love the MBs and would highly recommend them. Just my opinion.
