went to spot number 7 on my garmin.its a flat woods so I took the camera ..dug 14 oz.. spent more time pulling the tops off than digging...I may try and dig some more next week but its pretty much done....a rain now would just make the plants fall apart .....heres what most look like now...Image

Dang Chief, you guys are bone dry! It's going to be dry until Tuesday and then rain again. That's one thing we haven't had a shortage of.

Only 40 this morning. They say northern PA had a light frost this morning.

Have a great day everyone. :D

we are supposed to be getting rain from hurricane Irma today but it seems to be falling apart the further north it goes. Are you getting any much needed rain from the hurricane Chief?

Have a great day everyone. :D

Didn't get into any roots yesterday. I'll try over the weekend. Keeps getting warmer every day, they are calling for 80's next week.

TGIF everyone. :D

Some friends of ours had tickets to the University of Pittsburgh vs. Oklahoma State football game in Pittsburgh yesterday. It wasn't good, we baked in the sun where temps were in the mid 80's plus the humidity was horrendous. On top of that, OK State was up 45 to 7 at half time.... I should have went out in the woods, hunted doves or fished or something else....

Have a great day everyone. :D

I tried heading out in the woods to look for sang but the bugs were just ridiculous. The very warm and humid weather continues today.

Have a great day everyone. :D

No rain and upper 70's for temperatures the next 7 days. Hopefully the dryer weather will slow down the grass.

Have a great day everyone. :D

well today the madness crept into my small mid western town..had to go the grand daughters high school at 11:30 this morning.some student brought a gun to school to settle a score..two wounded, one in critical condition at this time the other was treated and released..the shooter was tackled by a female teacher and was arrested ..what a day for the school teachers and students..

That is just scary Chief. I hope to God your granddaughter is alright.
Stupid actions by stupid people make today's society a more unpleasant place to live.
