I'm going to an auction tomorrow. They are advertising a #14 Newhouse w/teeth. Anyone know the approximate value?

seen them sold from 65 to over 100. I only have two of them. One is in the woods and the other has a crack in the jaw. I picked them up for 12.25 each, but the guy did not know what he had.

paid 12.25 each for 36 #48 and 2 #14.

Just how big is that trap? I've never seen one. The only thing I could legally use it for here would be beaver.

about the size of a number 4, maybe slightly bigger, but not as big as the #5 or 114 newhouse.

check your laws as traps with teeth are not legal in lots of states no matter where you put them.

Seems like most of them are collectors items now. I have a bunch of them, but may retire some as the springs are getting weak on a few. Them buggers are hard to set because of the design, but they work well.
