I have a question.... Is it KAH-NUH-BEAR or KOH-NUH-BEAR?
Another question, is it TWO-TWENTY or TWO-HUNDRED-TWENTY?
ONE-SIXTY or ONE-HUNDRED-SIXTY?
And so on...

two twenty . and I have heard either for conibear depends on the dialect in your area. use how it is said in your area. I say Kon-NI-bear this is not helping even me (Kon) then the not the I as in me the other sound then bear. kon not as cone in ice cream but convict criminal that sound . there that was better that is how I hear it said it mostly I think that comes from the inventer of the trap if I remember correctly. better yet use the first description you gave for conibear you cant be wrong either way so now your stuck where you started. the spelling I use is correct so sound that out. there is no uh sound in I. boy are you gonna be confused now.

Technically, footholds and Conibears are bodygrippers. Both hold the body.
