To answer your question.....Both of my parents had passed and after that my sister was living in their house. Drugs....After receiving a lot of threats from the dealers and users. I was finally able to get them all out with the help of LE, an Attorney and lots of money. My oldest son got married. I have 2 grandkids Lucas and Peyton. Life is good now.

I got 1 or 2. I had accomplished a goal i was striving for. I became a certified grey wolf controller (State wolf trapper) For the State on MN while the wolves were delisted. It was fun to be able to trap timber wolves from spring till fall. I don't think i would do it again. A big headache. The wolves did teach me a lot while i was trapping them.

Sounds like a lot of bridges were crossed and some burned. Good to keep a positive attitude. Congrats on becoming a State Trapper.

Trappintime..here's one for you.

One lesson i learned while trapping wolves is always CARRY a GUN!!!!

Summer time trapping you may encounter what they call a "Wolf rendezvous", it's a place where the wolves will keep there pups prior to them being able to run with the pack. 1 wolf usually guards them. They occur between June and Sept and there may be more than one site but usually close together. I encountered one such site. That wolf was hounding and barking at me until it (the wolf) thought i was far enough away from the pups. With no gun and only a phone, i could only video the encounter. Wolves will also do this at a kill site too. The wife asked me to stop trapping wolves after that. I told her, i will always be armed from then on.
