Some of us may be members of Scrap Metal Forum and know already but the main moderator on that forum, Mike Kimes "Mechanic 688" of Warsaw, IN passed away on July 3. If you page through past threads of that forum, you'll see the impact that Mike had on that group of folks. His knowledge in scrapping, especially electronic recycling, and patience to pass that on to members was amazing. Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Army (1969-1971) and will be greatly missed. Mechanic 688 was one of the "good guys", a breed that seems to be diminishing in numbers nowadays. Thanks M688 for being there...
