The second to the last of my dad's brothers passed away yesterday afternoon of congestive heart failure at the age of 83. A lifelong farmer in Hutchinson and Yankton Counties he loved to hunt and fish and even trapped some muskrats through the ice once an while. The circle is almost complete for that generation. I'll see you again someday Uncle Bob!!

The Badlands 1991. Not exactly a trophy but another adventure story to add to the long list...

Sorry to hear of your loss. Those memories will last a long time.

Before my brother passed away, he asked if I'd be upset if he gave his rifles and pistols to some other people he knew. Told him he could do whatever he thought best, it was his to do with as he saw fit. I told him that I had a trunk full of memories that were worth more than anything he might leave me.
