'Tis the Season and I didn't want to put the lights on the house. I know, just never take them down, but my wife doesn't work that way (or work me that way). So, I say in a conversational tone, "How about I build a cross for the yard instead of putting up lights on the house this year?". She was agreeable to that, so today, I spent over $100 in supplies and took the full day building a cross for the yard. Mind you that I could have put the lights on the house in a little over an hour BUT I am definately not in the ram's pasture for how it turned out. One 16 foot x 8 foot cross really stands out and lets everyone know our Christian beliefs.
