Post subject:  couple of Upper Midwest energy stories

A couple of weeks back one of the local tv stations ran this story on a wind turbine manufacturing plant just down the highway a piece from me. I don't know if our Canadian WATers claim the Quebecers or not but we're glad they're spending their money down here :--D !!!

Tonight this story ran. I know some of you "love" our corn ethanol industry but its a fact around here. POET, based in Sioux Falls, manages corn ethanol plants mostly for farmer cooperative owners. POET is either the largest ethanol company in the US or is second behind ADM that is based in central Illinois. Fish94 is going to catch some coon this fall and winter with distiller grain mush that is left over from making the hootch (that's is if he can wrestle it away from his cattle  ).
