The Department of Justice is being urged to file civil rights charges against George Zimmerman who was found innocent by a jury. Who else but the NAACP would be behind this outrageousness. The NAACP wants to "outlaw racial profiling," but it seems like they only want the "profiling" of blacks outlawed. When a black person murders someone in cold blood the case is just viewed as regular homicide, but when its a black victim and a white (or hispanic in Zimmerman's case) agressor heaven and hell should be moved in order to throw the killer in jail, even if the shooter acted in self-defense and was found innocent by a jury. So if the NAACP has their way, then the DOJ should file civil rights charges on black criminals that attack people of another race. And we might as well forget about trial by jury because apparently that doesnt have any value anymore. Maybe we should just go by (uneducated) public opinion ....

I don't believe they are going to have enough backing to be able to get this done, especially when you take in consideration the amount of people that are going to come against what they are wanting to do. This isn't a federal issue, it is a state issue. If the feds try something you are going to see a big revolt and come under heavy fire. With the crap that the current administration is going through right now (Benghazi, NSA, IRS scandals) I don't know that they will touch this with a hundred foot pole. If the NAACP wants something changed, petition the state, but, what am I saying, what liberal organization uses common sense now days.
