I'll be leavin work a little early to head to our annual trout camp! I've done it every year, except for a couple while I was in college, since I was 12 years old. The faces have changed over the years but it's still a blast. I've been going with this current group since 2001 and I'm definitely the young pup in the group at 36. Most of the rest of the guys are now in their 50s but they sure can still hang :--D All I need is a case of beer, some ice, and to get the smoker loaded up in the truck then I'm out

By the way we hardly ever actually make it fishing but we're having it at a new location that just happens to have two decent pounds loaded with bass, catfish, and pan fish so we may just fish some this year :--)

Good luck Davy! It looks like tomorrow is going to be a cold, wet day on the water.

This will be the first time in many, many years I will be missing the first day of trout season. My daughter has a basketball tournament all weekend. I did notice it is supposed to be cold and very rainy tomorrow but to those of you heading out good luck!!
