Utah, that's a shame ..get a trail camera and reset those sets..find out who it is ,then take the proper steps to ensure that he doesn't steal any more traps.. [kick his azz]...hope you get your traps back..

Sorry to hear it, Utah.
Only lost one trap this season and it was a Duke #1. Last year I lost 2 Bridger 1.65's. That chapped my nether regions like leather underwear on a hot days walk. Had someone walking in the area of some of my sets twice now wearing rubber boots but I'm not missing anything and am pulling all traps tomorrow due to lack of time and gas prices. Hope they were tagged or marked and you get them back.

Kelley

I like these ideas. Also set a trail cam that cant be destroyed or stolen. Check the traps often , more than usual. If they are still around, you'll catch them. Write a note on a paper pan cover. ( I'm right behind you) When they steal the trap , they will know you are on to them. In my book, a trap thief is the best catch of all. Good luck

we have a state trooper that i just love and i cant say that for very many of them i was reascently working a damage control job with a hole tribe of johny snekums on itthey were kicking in the doors of my live traps and turning the animals loose i reported to the state police in behalf of the property owners and i was to start using body grip traps in one month on the same job just different area at 11:30 one night i got approached by a state police fish and game warden he saw the lights and thought i was the the culprit and laid in wait for me after explaining who i was we got in a brief conversation about what as happening to the traps and i menchioned use of the body grips he told me that i had proper signage out and that if anyone got cought in them it would obviosly be the thief and that when he showed up at the hospital it would automaticly be reported he would be sighted for trap theft and i would have the trap returned to me sadly enough he or she never tampered with the body grips but i do like that game warden
