Welcome to the site. Glad to have you here. Those are very cool pics, that looks like one awesome garden. Where are you located?

Thanks for the welcome, TrapperKD. This seems like a friendly forum with lots of good information. I'm located about twenty miles northwest of Milwaukee in Waukesha county. The garden took about ten years to become what it is now. I've found raised beds are an efficient and easier way to garden.

I also trap, btw. I started trapping in northern Wisconsin in the seventies with my buddy at college. We've both recently gained a renewed interest in it after a twenty+ year hiatus. We both drove our wives crazy restocking our supplies. It behooved me to purchase a miniature refrigerator when (my wife) and I were reminded how pungent the lures and baits can be unopened.

Thanks again.

Mike

Mike, great looking garden and fish!! I know what you mean about storeing your trapping essentials in the fridge or freezer, my lady was not at all pleased to find a frozen muskrat in our new freezer  I guess I'll have to get one of my own :D

Same here. The raised beds really seem to work wonders up here. That and sheep poop. :D

A+++ on the Sheep Fertilizer, even in the deep south! Doesn't tend to burn the tender roots. Raised gardens seem to work well also. I wonder if I might could use a raised "food plot" for hunting near my deer stand?

Don't know about sheep poop, even though we have a lot of that around here, but I do know that horse poop does wonders for a garden.

Looks like that sheep has the shovel handle in the corner if its mouth.
