committee (PAC) to help elect political candidates who support the
animal rights agenda. The
U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance has uncovered which Senators and Congressmen
received contributions from the anti’s for their 2002 campaign. Humane USA PAC was created in 1999 to endorse and help fund
campaigns for political candidates who support the animal rights agenda
and to lobby for animal rights legislation.
It is the official PAC of the Humane Society of the United
States, Fund for Animals, Farm Sanctuary, Doris Day Animal League,
American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Animal
Welfare Institute and other anti-hunting groups. During the 2002 election cycle, Humane USA contributed
$22,500 to 25 candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives (22
Democrats/3 Republicans). It
also contributed $20,000 to 10 candidates for the U.S. Senate (9
Democrats/1 Republican). Here
is a breakdown of the recipients and election results. House Races
