Hey I am just getting started and am looking at making a little investment but not much maybe 150 or so. I will be doing most of my trapping in East Texas and the Hill Country. My Targets will be Coyote Fox, Coons, and Bobcats. I was wondering if anyone had a sugestion on traps, Baits, Boocks, and the sort. Thanks alot.

Check out http://www.usedtraps.com for deals on bait and lures. You can also connect with some 1.75's there which will serve you well with those texan yotes as well as a number of other critters.

Books: Legget's coyote trapping autobiography is a good one for that region.

If you buy any books or videos make sure they show trapping as it is done in your terrain. Someone that traps the northwoods of Wisconsin and has never been to the Texas Hill Country would not be able to help you as much. :)
