Made a couple of hats over the weekend. Mine doesn't have the face. Instead, it has a patch.

And a couple of others, one with a face and one without.

Hey, those are cool! Do you do them for fun or for profit? Anything other than raccoons?

Best coonskin caps I've ever seen. If they are not for sale, they probably should be...

I do them for fun AND for profit. :) They're something I can do fairly easy, considering I'm laid up, and it's fun, and if I can make a few bucks too, where's the harm? :) I can also do fox, coyote, russian style beaver hats, gosh, I gotta figure out a way to get downstairs to take some pictures. :P

I'm working on a mongolian-style fox hat right now with ear flaps. :)

So you have sold some? Do you make earmuffs or mittens too? Can someone bring you their fur or do you use your own? You should post one or two in the Trading Post section and see if you get any bites. :)

Yes to the mittens, not yet to the earmuffs, and yes to doing your furs or my own (price differs slightly), and I'll think about the trap shed thing.
