This is my first post as I just joined May 13/07 , I have a question to put the trappers that trap Lynx. I have trapped lynx for many years using leghold and snares, now they say we have to use conibears, I've tried different ways to set with a conibear for lynx but have never had any luck , can anyone enlighten me as to how to set these traps for lynx. Thank You......

Well I'm the latest addition, and I'm from N.S. I've been playing at trapping on and off since 1971 and that has all been for muskrat, beaver and coon as my target species but am now getting into the canines and cats as I have more time to kill, being retired and all. I am located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley in the Kingston, Aylesford area, and I would like to catch a few coyote this year as well as some fox and bobcats as well as the water faring fur bearers and I'll also set my bear snare as it has been idle since the late 80's. I have some gear to put together before this fall so it will keep me busy over the next few months.
