I check the box after this... "Log me on automatically each visit:" and I still have to log back in after a day or two? That happen to anyone else?

Nope. That's odd... Is there a drop down box under your name that lists for the duration you stay logged in? I think you might have to change it to 'forever'

Interesting. I'm not having that problem. Have either of you run virus checks, registry cleaners, or gotten rid of your cookies lately?

Auotmatic Login expires after a preset period of time. It is a security feature that helps prevent ne'er-do-wells from using your account. I know it can be a pain but it is for the good of us all. :)

Lol!

The reason I asked about cookies is a lot of the time, websites and forums will automatically read your IP when you log in. Then they search your computer for a 'cookie' that plugs in your password for you and then you gain access to the website. If you delete your cookies or temporary internet files, as virus scans are apt to do since those files are the ones that most often house trojan-gen's and adware-gen's, you'll have to more regularly supply your password.

I didn't know TrapperKD had it on automatic time-out. It was just a thought. Glad you're feeling ok, ADC.
