Do any of you recall a posting by one of our members about using PVC pipe as an aid to setting the Lil Grizz traps? I think it was one of our younger members. I also thought it was in the archives, but have been unable to locate it.

I was looking for it to after seeing a new post asking about them. I have 1 at the house ready to go, so if we don't get something up before then, I'll redo it when I get home Sunday evening. At parents for Easter right now. I still remimber the pic, so I can reproduce it if need be.

Look at the other thread from yesterday. I added afew there too. Was it the bandit buster like this one, or wich was it. The one I was thinking of was with this same trap. It was in the top of a 3" PVC pipe sticking out of the ground. What did yours look like?

Ok. I couldn't find the actual post, but figured I could recreate it. I hadn't tried it out yet, though. I need to, though. I figured on burrying the whole pipe, though. What do you think?

I think you could run a tie down wire around it and your stake and use as is or like you said, put it in the ground.

That's the one Kelley...THANKS. No Boom, Kelley has to find a lot more than one to compete with you as the unofficial Archivist! But we will keep him in the Roledex! I thought that had been added to the archives, but I have been wrong before.

Boom,
You still da man!. I looked it up a few days ago to send to my mom.
She can't use anything that will catch dogs, and the cage traps are a problem too.
