Texastrap...really enjoyed the photos..good west Texas scenery too. I have trapped and hunted as far over as San Angelo. Do you not have some of the titles out of place? You mention a cat in '05 between two coyote photos and the best I can make out on the Crockett county record cat of 44 lbs....the scales look like 38 lbs. Just curious, those are some very large cats. Can hardly wait to see more of these quality photos.

Swamp, you must have better eyesight than me if you can see the numbers on that scale. They are quite a pretty sight to see TT. Those look like some beautiful cats. They have always fascinated me, as I have never been fortunate enough to catch one, and now I don't know that I will try, with all of the Lynx we have now. Those greys are nice too. I was also curious about the ringtail, as I had heard alot about them, but it is not something we have around here.

Nope, not better eyesight...I just figure the scales would be in 10lb increments and that is what I "judged" the weight on. No doubt about the cats, they are large for Texas. TXT has a very good mixture of fur in the photos, I can hardly wait to see what he shares with us next! :)

Swamp, He said "first Cat. 05" with a "." at the end of cat. Maybe abreiviating "catch" there, but I don't know.

Nice catch there.

The Cat was on a 500lb Scale.
So it wasnt Completely Accurate on
smaller animals i guess.

I Work at Wild West Taxidermy out
of Midland.
Put the ol' tom on a lighter weight scale
it read 44. My Jaw Dropped.

Thanks yall.
I Have about three dozen Traps out in
Rankin in some Sheep Country.
Runnin them Tomorrow.

I'll Def. bring the digital.
Thanks!
