33 degrees this morning and supposed to hit the low 50's today.

Archery deer season continues as the rut seems to be in full swing and today is the last day of our archery bear season. I'll be out today trying to fill the freezer.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Rifle season opened this morning here and it started off at 71F but is already up to 77F with high humidity. First time I have sat out on opening day since I can't remember when. Plan to get down to Camp Winky about Wednesday and let the games begin.

Nice haul of crappie Chief!

I considered going fishing today but it's raining and 44 degrees. Maybe this afternoon.

We had on and off rain all day plus wind, so I never got out to do any fishing. More rain this morning and warmer. It's 54 now.

Have a great day everyone. :D

We had our first measurable snow fall of the year yesterday. As usual, they didn't call for it, they said rain may mix with snow at times. About 10 AM the rain changed to snow and started coming down pretty hard and by 11 AM everything was covered. The snow quit but my yard is still white this morning. Supposed to be sunny today, we'll see....

Have a great day everyone. :D

they are saying low tonight in the upper teens .wind chill in the single digits in the morning.opening morning for trapping in the morning .got a little ADC work to set up,got a farmer with coons in the hay barn.he has registered quarter horses..he says the horses don't like eating the hay after the coons use the hay as a toilet ..and I have a farm pond to set up with muskrat problems...didn't draw a bobcat tag again this year..last year there was two caught in my county..

Good luck on the coons and rats for the ADC work Chief.

Last night when I left the dogs out I could hear hundreds of Tundra Swans honking and heading south. That usually means there is a very strong arctic cold front coming through.

They are calling for low 20's or teens tomorrow morning. Brrr!
