Had 57 days without any precipitation. It did rain early this week. Got one tenth inch. All that did was clear the air of smoke from the forest fires. I do appreciate it though.

That's really wild how different the weather trends can be from region to region. Whatever Chief has we seem to get a day or so later will arrive here. Although, a northwest wind shift from Canada then across the great lakes affects our weather also. Overall, we've had a cool, wet summer. We've rarely had week without rain. we had almost an inch of rain yesterday afternoon and calling for more rain this afternoon from a cold front moving through.

By the way, today is the big PA elk drawing day. I'm hoping for a tag.

Have a great day everyone. :D

doc I can shower and be ready to roll in 30 min.s.....it takes her that long to decide on what to wear..and that can change many times before she actually gets dressed...then another half hour to put the war paint on her face[she hates it when I call her makeup war paint]..I slept in this morning .didn't get home till 2am..Cougar has held up really well for an aging rocker..he looks old but his voice is as good as it ever was..2 hour show with no glitches ....i was well pleased with his act..this is the second time ive seen him in concert..this one was by far better than the first one...

The heat and humidity is back.

We got to check out the eclipse yesterday through welding goggles. it worked pretty well. We had 80% eclipse here. It made an eerie glow and the shadows were really detailed.

Have a great day everyone. :D

We had a surprise rainstorm last evening. Right about the time I was ready to cut grass. I guess the grass will get cut this evening.

Be careful Swamp. Looks like you're going to get hit with a nasty hurricane.

TGIF Everyone. :D

Another cool morning at 49 degrees hitting a high of 71 today. Incredible for the end of August.

The amount of rain is just unreal in Texas. I hope they dry out real soon also.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Another morning in the 40's. The cloud cover yesterday kept temperatures in the 60's all day. They say we may hit 70 today.

Have a great day everyone. :D
