That would be a handy hog holder, used by putting one end over the snout of a hog to lead it or at least handle it. I've got a couple and all I find them useful for is talking about. :roll:

Darn, I thought it was a set of stirrups so those folks in W VA could ride their hogs and be more comfortable!
