Ready for dry weather

This may sound like sour grapes and I am NOT looking for any kind of sympathy, but I am READY for dry weather. Living here in northwest Oregon, I thought I had gotten used to the rain, but this winter has gotten old. The Portland area had the coldest and snowiest December since the late 80’s. January was the wettest month since 1999. In the month of February, we usually get a little over two inches of rain. With the month just half over, we have received over eight inches of rain and after a day of dry weather, it is raining again. Hasn’t been this wet, around here, since 1996. Mud slides and rivers are near or at flood stage. I know; sour grapes. I’ll get over it. Western Washington isn't doing any better.

Have to feel for some of those folks in California, but at least the drought is over down there.

Send some my way Rem, we've had the least amount of rain and snow this winter that I can remember.

I use to live in sandy oregon..just east of portland. It rained alot there. But no where near as much as living west of the cascade mountains.in tillamook.
It rains so much in nw oregon that back when...there was a shoe company in portland that made Multnomah Clogs. Made of 3/4" wood with leather uppers and rubber sole bottom. To keep your feet out of the water.
Not every monsoon has a shoe named after it. !
I dont envy ya rem! I love all the riding time here.

We are at nine and a half inches and eight days to finish the month. Going to need to get out the flotation vests.
