I always enjoy looking at your yote pixs!!! It looks like those first 2-3 had a darker hue to them. What do yours usually go as, "semi-heavy"...?

I sure like the looks of your coyotes! I often show people in this are the difference in our puny furred coyotes compared to your Kansas coyotes...thanks to the fine hide you sent me. Keep up the good work. Are you doing much with cats this season?

Swamp... A big NO on the cats. I've only caught two so far. I should shut down the coyote line and focus on cats, BUT it's bred into me to kill coyotes.

Richard, no I didn't. The guy I was going with ended up not going. Did you send any coyotes to Hugo sale?

Not till next year. Sold a few earlier this year local, $22 ave. and $30 was my high. The rest I think will stay in freezer till Hugo next year including my cats to. Was pleased considering what the forcast was earlier. Prices are lookin to be much better next season in country. Next February the wife and I will be making the trip out to Hugo. Only 6 hour drive for me. Have you heard about the anti's in NM going after cougar trapping? Could be the end of NM if trappers don't stop it.

Thanks Doc

Richard

I heard about the NM deal this weekend. They just keep trying. Sucks.
I think yote prices will go up a little. Lee Steinmeyer said he didn't have a third of coyotes he normally picks up on his run. The Wyoming and Montana guys had a lot of snow I believe.

Looking good Jeff, some nice yotes you picked up. We lost about 10 inches of snow this past week with the warm spell and you still have nothing. Winter is white for us but still have a hard time seeing green in Jan.

Rob I think we have had about 2 inches total this winter. Ok by me. I like cold and dry for coyote trapping.

All good catches but the weather looks to have been playing tricks on you...dirt, frost, snow, mud and dirt.

Yep I've had all conditions in the last month. -5 the first week of January and now it was 65 degrees today. Had a little snow for a few days then had a half inch of ice about 10 days later. So the weather was a challenge but you just get up and get going and the coyotes will wander into your traps every once in a while.

I like to never got this one cleaned up. I had about a week where it was pretty muddy. Washed a lot of coyotes that week.

That one looks like it would appreciate being put down. What a mess!
