Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving last week. I can't believe that I have not posted on here in the better part of 3 years! I was going though my e-mail contacts and address to send out Christmas cards and came across Harold Hughes (redrooster) and Tommi Budd (Utah) and bam it brought me right back here. I can't believe that I let this site slide by on me, I always enjoyed talking with everyone. I started looking back though some of my old posts and they sure brought up some good memories! Many many ups and a few downs over the last few years, as I am sure that you have all had too. Been doing quite a bit of hunting and fishing but only a little trapping, hoping that picks up this season. I hope that everyone has been well and I look forward to catching up with everyone! :D

A prodigal son has returned. Amazing how time slips away without being noticed. Welcome back.

Great to see you back SJ!

If I remember correctly you had purchased a farm in South Jersey. How is everything there?

Good to hear from some of you guys!

Trapperrick, the farm and house are coming along slowly but surely. I have attached a few pictures from last summer. I am finding that there is quite an enjoyable learning curve to farming, but the wife, kids, and I are slowly figuring it out. We finished the wagon stand a year or two ago and do an honor system for purchases. We encourage people in the area that can't afford to have fresh produce from the store to take whatever they like for no charge. I will say that our prices are really low, even manged to make another farmer mad because I wasn't charging more and everyone was coming to our stand instead of his. LOL. Of course that was never our intention, but it surely has helped get our name out there. I am still working full time at the firehouse and even managed to get promoted last February to Captain. Wife and kids are doing great, the kids are growing like weeds! Hope all is well with you guys.

You are living the good life SJ!

Congrats on making Captain and yes, kids seem to grow up way too fast! I have one in college and the other a senior in high school. I wish you continued success on the farm!

Good to see you dropped back by SJ, glad so many things are working out in your favor. It is great seeing your family working the farm and enjoying meeting folks stopping by to share your harvests. You did bring up old memories mentioning Harold and Bud. We have some fine members on this site and always regret the loss of any of them. Thanks for the updates....Captain!
