Well as you all know my brother has this dream to go off the grid and live/trap/hunt the Yukon.

I asked you all before the best traps and greatly appreciate the responses. Now he wants to know what clothing you all prefer. Do you prefer wool or the newer synthetics, he's concerned not only about warmth but also about freedom of movement, , durability, water resistance, etc. etc. Thank you all for your help.

Buy stock in Cabelas, he gets a delivery about every 2 days. :roll:

A helmet is a must in those heavy snow storms!

Wool Outer Pants, Snow Pacs, Heavy Socks, Flannel Shirts (just to look like a Lumberjack), Heavy duty mittens and a wrap to go around your neck. These are hints from a flatland southern 48 states guy who had the good fortune to visit up there in the winter wonderland of Canada.

Best thing to do Doc is have him sit in a walk in cooler for 8 hours and let him figure things out for himself :mrgreen:
